Cardinal
Proof of concept for the series Cardinal (in development)
Logline
A crime boss shows up uninvited to his fixer's Thanksgiving dinner, and everyone at the table knows why.
Synopsis
Thanksgiving at Jason Thomas's mansion is everything money can buy: a full staff, a lavish spread, his wife Nikki, their two kids, and her mother at the table. But one extra place is set, and when a black SUV pulls into the drive, Jason realizes who it's for. King, the boss Jason has worked for all his life, walks in with a smile, takes the seat, and charms the whole family, while making it clear that he knows exactly what Jason has done, and that they will be speaking about it later.
